Weed-infested to clean, thick lawn
Danbury, CM3
Full Lawn Care plan - 5 months
The problem
Broadleaf weeds had taken over most of the lawn. Plantain, clover, and other weeds were growing through bare patches of reddish soil. The grass that remained was thin and struggling to compete.
What we did
Targeted weed treatment to clear the broadleaf weeds without blanket spraying. Overseeded the bare areas once the weeds died back. Seasonal feeding to strengthen the remaining grass and help new seed establish. Regular mowing at the right height once growth returned.
The result
Completely transformed. Thick, even grass coverage with clean mowing stripes where there were once bare patches and weeds. The lawn filled in fully and the weeds have not come back.

Thatchy and mossy to thick striped lawn
Chelmsford, CM2
Full Lawn Care plan - 4 months
The problem
Heavy thatch and moss had built up across the lawn, leaving brown, patchy areas where the grass could not grow through. The turf lacked density and colour, with visible damage where the thatch was thickest.
What we did
Scarification to strip out the thatch and moss layer. Moss control treatment to prevent regrowth. Seasonal feeding to rebuild colour and encourage the grass to fill the gaps. Regular mowing to keep the recovery on track.
The result
Deep green lawn with defined stripes running across the full width. The brown patches are gone, the moss has not returned, and the grass is thick and even throughout. A proper front lawn again.

Thin and pale to lush striped lawn
Little Baddow, CM3
Full Lawn Care plan - 6 months
The problem
The lawn had thinned out and lost its colour. Faint stripes were visible but the grass was pale, patchy, and the turf lacked density. Borders were growing into the edges.
What we did
Regular mowing at the correct height to encourage lateral growth. Seasonal feeding programme to build colour and density. Overseeded thin areas in autumn. Edges re-cut to define the lawn shape.
The result
Dense, deep green lawn with sharp, defined stripes. The grass thickened up significantly and the borders were brought back under control. Night-and-day difference from where it started.

Tired and pale to deep green with stripes
Chelmsford, CM2
Full Lawn Care plan - 5 months
The problem
The lawn had lost its colour and thinned out over time. Pale, yellowish grass with patchy coverage and no real density. The garden has mature trees creating shade in places, making recovery harder without the right approach.
What we did
Autumn Renovation to clear thatch and open the soil: scarification, aeration, overseeding with a shade-tolerant mix, and topdressing. Seasonal feeding programme through winter and spring to rebuild colour and density. Regular mowing at the right height once growth returned.
The result
Thick, deep green lawn with clean mowing stripes running the full length of the garden. The grass filled in across the whole area and the colour is completely different. A proper transformation from tired to thriving.

Mossy and faded to bold, healthy stripes
Chelmsford, CM1
Lawn Health plan - 4 months
The problem
The lawn had faded stripes but was losing ground to moss and thatch between them. Brown, tired-looking patches were spreading and the grass lacked the density to hold its colour. A large lawn with good bones but in need of proper treatment.
What we did
Moss control to clear the patches between the stripes. Autumn Renovation: scarification to remove the dead material, aeration, and overseeding to thicken up the turf. Seasonal feeding programme through winter and spring to rebuild colour and strength.
The result
Bold, well-defined stripes across a thick, healthy lawn. The moss patches are gone and the grass has filled in completely. Colour is strong and even from the house to the boundary.
